Heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) are indispensable for freight and logistics but pose magnitudes of safety risks. The primary objective of this project is to develop a crash-prediction model for heavy-duty vehicles (HDV) by creating a model based on historical crash records. In the bigger scope of Dr.Tang's HDV research, the finished product could potentially be integrated with physics-simulated models as a hybrid approach to crash prediction/prevention.
